I Love Japan: #77

Tea fields







I guess tea fields are analogous to cornfields back home, except they're everywhere, not just off the highways like in central America. Since most of Japan is mountainous, they can often be found sloping up hills or tucked in between hills and nooks. The top photo was taken from the bus back form Hamamatsu, and the bottom two are here in Haibara. Kind of reminds me of the Snapple commercial with the Thai guy:
