


You know it's going to be quality stuff when the sashimi is served with the fish's severed head, carved-out body and tail. And the tail is still wiggling. Ever so slightly, but moving nonetheless. Cadaveric spasm--the real sign of freshness! Sorry about the crappy image quality. I took them with my keitai, and they don't really capture just how alive-looking everything was. Eating the barely dead animals was satisfyingly barbaric, not to mention yummy as hell.
Also, see that taupe-colored purée in the martini glass? Sea urchin guts. Maybe it would've tasted better on a Ritz...
