Hanko

In Japan, everyone has their own personal stamp that they carry with them and use for official documents, in lieu of a signature:



You can buy little carrying cases for them at hyaku yen shops. My hanko is a bit strange-looking, with the katakana-ized gaijin's name in place of a cool-looking kanji. Oh well, it makes me (even more) special in this country.
