Peace and quiet
I used to be weirded out by the uber polite Japanese people and the silence that comes with them on public transportation, restaurants and virtually everywhere else. But after spending a few days in Korea, I've come to really appreciate it. I think the Japanese save their rowdiness for drinking parties, after they get smashed on beer (all two of them).
